I’ve had a 25-year career in journalism, in which I’ve written hard news, features, investigative pieces and profiles about communities, government, crime, nature, schools, tribes, science, business, and technology. My professional work has included a wide variety of tasks, including proofreading dozens of pages of listings in small type, copy editing game text, and writing and editing stories for specialized audiences. I’m also a fiction writer and a musician. I also like cats.
